Cynthia Bernard received her bachelor of science degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1991 and her juris doctor from the University of Miami School of Law cum laude in 1995. She served on the University of Miami Law Review and authored "Waiving' Goodbye to Juvenile Defendants, Getting Tough vs. Getting Smart," University of Miami Law Review, Vol. 49. Her practice has included bringing and defending personal injury, premises liability and medical malpractice actions, and family and criminal law.
